We have gathered together a selection of frequently asked questions from our clients to assist you in deciding which of the offered plans are suitable for your requirements.

How is family defined?

Policyholder and spouse or partner living together for at least 6 months and their dependant children living at home aged 0-17 years (inclusive) (or under 23 if in fulltime education and normally living at the family home) on the date of issue.

Are Greenland and Iceland covered under Europe?

Greenland is classed as Worldwide and Iceland is Europe.

Am I covered for Ski and or Snowboard Racing?

Yes but only if it’s a military event within Europe.

Is Russia covered under European policies?

Yes, as long as you’re travelling West of the Ural Mountains (including St. Petersburg and Moscow). All areas East of the Ural Mountains such as Siberia are classed as worldwide.

For Group policies can I change the names of travelers after paying?

Yes, but only if advised to JBI before the departure date.

My holiday/trip is for a total of 18 days, can I buy the 17 days Single Trip policy and go without cover for my first/last day?

No, you must apply for cover for the whole duration of your trip, if you require more than 17 days you will need to arrange the Annual Multi-Trip policy

We are on tour for 3 months, during this time we will be given leave for 5 days off camp, can I arrange the 5 days Single Trip for the R & R period?

Yes, this policy is designed to cover such trips if you are on a holiday/trip off camp for a continuous period

Am I covered for Helicopter evacuation?

If it is deemed medically necessary then yes, the policy provides Emergency medical expenses cover up to £10m regardless of medical evacuation being road or air ambulance
