JBI AdventureCare is underwritten by Millstream Underwriting Limited on behalf of AGA International S.A. Mondial Assistance (UK) Limited is the appointed administrator in the UK. It is a single contract covering the duration of your trip/holiday that provides cover against unforeseen emergencies once a booking is made (subject to you taking out the insurance cover) and while travelling.
As well as using the FAQ section to help familiarise you with JBI AdventureCare, we have compiled the following important information for your perusal.
If after purchasing your Travel Insurance you find that cover does not meet your requirements then please notify us within 14 days of purchasing your policy or before your departure date (whichever is sooner) for a full refund of your premium. If during this period you have travelled, made a claim, or intend to make a claim then we are entitled to recover all costs for those services that you have used. Please note that you are not entitled to a full refund after this initial 14 day period.
You are covered for trips within your Country of Residence if it is pre-booked in paid accommodation and for 2 nights or more. The actual policy cover for trips within your country of residence is as follows;
1. Reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in respect of your travel home (Economy Class), or additional accommodation (room only) for you and one relative or friend should you suffer accidental bodily injury, illness or death whist on a trip within your Country of Residence limited to the amount stated on the summary of cover.
2. Necessary search and rescue expenses you are liable to pay for official civil and police rescue teams, limited to £5,000 in total.
3. HM Forces personnel and their dependants named on the enrolment certificate only – Emergency medical and surgical treatment and hospital charges up to £5,000.
Shall mean any private journey but including adventurous training outside the United Kingdom or HM Base area, not exceeding the trip duration shown on your policy certificate and undertaken in an official holiday or leave period where the insured would not be reasonably expected to be covered by the medical service provided by Her Majesty’s Forces and shall start from the time of leaving the HM Base area and continue until arrival back at such base.
Under most sections of the policy, claims will be subject to an excess. This means that you will be responsible
for paying the first part of the claim up to the excess value per insured person each and every incident. An excess of £50 for Medical Expenses applies unless you receive medical treatment as a result of an accident whilst participating in a Premier activity, where an excess of £75 will then apply.

The duration on the Single Trip is up to 5 days, 10 days or 17 days only. For the Annual Multi-Trip policy the maximum duration per trip is 31 days.
Cover is available to serving members of H.M Forces, TA Reservists, MOD Civilians attached and their spouse/children resident in an EEA Country, Gibraltar, Switzerland or based at a BFPO military establishment Worldwide
