JBI International Insurance Brokers Ltd have selected Temporary Cover Ltd to provide temporary car and van insurance to our clients. When you click on the Get a Quote button or menu option, a new browser window will open which is taking you to the Tempcover.com website.
If you are aged 21 – 25 cover is placed with Provident Insurance plc.
If you are aged 26 – 75 cover is placed with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc.
Yes, you can arrange cover only if you are aged between 21 and 75 years of age.
Yes. Your insurance can start from the moment you complete the online purchase of your temporary insurance policy. The start and duration of cover will be shown on your insurance documents. You can define the start and end date and time.
You can only pay for your insurance by credit or debit card via Barclaycard Merchant services EPDQ secure server. A 2% charge is applicable to all credit card transactions. Debit cards are free of charge. Tempcover accept the following cards:


Note: The payment process is dealt with on the Tempcover website, and JBI International Insurance Brokers Ltd are not involved with this.
No. Cover is only available for up to 28 days.
Yes, up to 30 days in advance. Simply specify the dates for which cover is required on the online application. Please be aware that, once committed, your details or cover CANNOT BE CHANGED. Also please see information on cancellations.
No. The only vehicle you’re permitted to drive is the one listed on your certificate of insurance.
Yes, the minimum legal cover required in EU countries is provided. The facility to upgrade the EU cover to comprehensive is available on stage 2 of the quote screen for comprehensive policies only. We are unable to provide any cover outside the EU.
You may cancel the policy at any time. You must notify Tempcover of this in writing and return the motor insurance certificate to them. Unfortunately they are unable to allow refunds due to the short term nature of the policy and associated administration costs.
