Important Information
JBI TravelCare is underwritten by Millstream Underwriting Limited on behalf of Mondial Assistance Europe N.V. It is an annual contract that provides cover against unforeseen emergencies once a booking is made and while travelling.
As well as using the FAQ section to help familiarise you with JBI TravelCare, we have compiled the following important information for your perusal.
Cancellation rights
If after purchasing your Travel Insurance you find that cover does not meet your requirements then please notify us within 14 days of the policy issue date for a refund of your premium. If during this period you have travelled, made a claim, or intend to make a claim then we are entitled to recover all costs for those services that you have used. Please note that your cancellation rights are no longer valid after this initial 14 day period.
Medical conditions
This insurance contains restrictions regarding pre-existing medical conditions in respect of the people travelling and of other people upon whose health the trip depends.
You are advised to read the Health Warranty on page 4 of the policy wording. If you are in any doubt as to whether a medical condition is covered you must contact the medical screening service quoting JBI TravelCare on +44 (0)1243 534453.
Trip duration
The maximum duration on the Single Trip policy is 365 days. The maximum duration per trip on the Annual Multi-Trip policy is 45 days, there is an option to increase this to a maximum of 90 days
Who is covered
The Military Travel Insurance is available to people resident in the United Kingdom, expatriates resident in an EEA Country
(including Switzerland & Gibraltar), military civilian MOD/UK Armed Forces personnel and their families based in the EEA or BFPO military establishment Worldwide.
Cover is only valid for trips starting and returning to your home in your country of residence. You must have a permanent residential address in and unrestricted right of entry to the United Kingdom, EEA Country or BFPO.
