Health Insurance – School Groups

We have gathered together a selection of frequently asked questions from our clients to assist you in deciding which of the offered plans are suitable for your requirements.

Under a group health insurance plan, the company would pay the premium to the health insurer. What individual arrangements exist for the reimbursement of premium or not, would depend on individual contractual arrangements.
As your broker, we can enquire from the health insurer whether they will continue your policy on an individual basis so that you do not lose benefits of wait periods and pre-existing condition cover.
This varies from health insurer to insurer – some insurers have a directory of hospitals and clinics from which to choose direct billing facilities for treatment/hospitalization. Others will allow you to choose the hospital for your treatment, provided that you notify them beforehand.
